This is an exciting opportunity to play a role in the future of a global industry leading organisation, while enjoying the lifestyle benefits that only South East Queensland can offer.

Established for thirty-five years and admitted into the Australian Export Awards Hall of Fame in 2009 our Toowoomba-based client, Russell Mineral Equipment Pty Ltd (RME), is the acknowledged world leader in grinding Mill Relining Systems. As an original equipment manufacturer, RME’s core competencies include quality design and manufacture as well as global distribution, after-sales service, mill relining and consulting services. Via a network of wholly-owned international subsidiaries, the organisation supports customers in more than 50 countries.

Integral to the ongoing development of the organisation's enterprise platform, the opportunity now exists for two experienced professionals to take responsibility for the consolidation, cleansing and migration of legacy machine drawings and data (e.g. BoMs, schematics, supporting documentation) to RME’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.

Based at the global Head Office in Toowoomba and reporting to the Asset Support Engineering Team Leader, in this role you will work closely with members of the Engineering Department and other key stakeholders to ensure the migration of machine data for in-service equipment is completed to a high standard, in an efficient manner and within defined timeframes, ensuring completeness of data and service information.

Your success in this challenging and rewarding role will be underpinned by your teamwork ability, strong communication skills (including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders), highly developed analytical skills with excellent attention to detail, demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise workloads within a dynamic environment and strong mechanical aptitude, with a basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical machine componentry.

Experience working on data migration projects and with extract-transform-load (ETL) processes across digital platforms will be a distinct advantage, as will proficiency with the following types of applications: PLM (ideally PTC Windchill), Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) and 3D CAD (ideally SolidWorks). Qualifications or certification in ICT/ IT Administration or another relevant discipline will also be well regarded.

Situated on the edge of the picturesque Great Dividing Range, less than 1.5 hours west of Brisbane and only two hours from both the Gold and Sunshine Coasts (and with direct flights daily to Sydney and Melbourne), the 'garden city' of Toowoomba is one of South East Queensland’s best kept secrets. This thriving regional community, Australia’s largest inland provincial city with 160,000 residents, offers affordable housing, world-class health, education, recreation and cultural facilities.

Applicants must currently reside, and be permitted to work permanently, in Australia and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
