As a result of both growth experienced over recent years and ambitious plans for the future, the opportunity now exists for an experienced professional to manage the day-to-day operations of the organisation, including the service delivery, human resources, finance, information systems and administration functions.

You will be willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done in the short term, while building a team and the infrastructure to support growth in the medium term. In this role you will be based in the Brisbane (CBD) office, report directly to (and work closely with) the Managing Director, and lead, manage and develop the team to deliver to the Board’s short-to-medium term strategy. This will involve: business and operational planning; the implementation of related initiatives; oversight of service delivery and corporate services functions; hands-on management of the accounting and finance function; the development of performance and growth of the business through a culture of client-focused continuous improvement; and related monitoring, evaluation and reporting.

 

You will be a willing leader whose sharp intellect is governed by your emotional intelligence and pragmatic, ‘people first’ approach. While commercially savvy and performance oriented, you will be systems and process focused, and committed to long term sustainability.

 

3+ years of client services experience within a professional services environment (ideally a top/mid-tier accounting/consulting firm), accounting qualifications and CA/CPA qualifications are essential. Supervisory experience will be well regarded.
