Our Toowoomba based client, Apollo Accounting, is a boutique accounting firm specialising in the accounting, taxation and administrative needs of individuals, families and businesses; which includes acting as a ‘family office’ for select clients.
Reporting to the Director, and working closely with a small team of professionals, in this role you will take responsibility for assisting clients with: routine accounting and taxation requirements (businesses and individuals); statutory reporting; company secretarial matters; employer obligations; advice for new business start-ups; and associated reporting.
Your success in this rewarding role will be underpinned by your: personable, team-oriented, ‘can do’ approach; strong client service ethic; excellent communication skills; commercial acumen; strong accounting and taxation knowledge; computer proficiency (particularly with MS Office, Xero, MYOB and Reckon); attention to detail and follow-through; and unwavering discretion and professionalism.
Significant relevant experience, degree qualifications, CA/CPA certification and a strong working knowledge of taxation are essential.
