Group Role reporting to the Chief Executive Officer

Attractive Remuneration & Conditions + Lifestyle Location

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to play a key role in the continued development of an industry leading organisation, while enjoying the significant lifestyle benefits of one of South East Queensland's true lifestyle locations.

Established for more than a century, and with a reputation for service excellence, our Toowoomba-based client is acknowledged as the benchmark in its industry, nationally, and operates five branches across the region.

Based at the Head Office in Toowoomba and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, in this role you will support the sustainable growth of the business through the preparation and reporting of accurate and timely financial reports on a consolidated group basis. In doing so, you will take responsibility for: bookkeeper supervision & support; monthly financial reporting; monthly management reporting; budgeting & forecasting; cash flow reporting; inter-entity accounting; trust account management; GST, FBT and Payroll Tax reporting; liaising with external advisors; accounts payable & receivable; payroll administration; stock control reporting; insurance management; reconciliations; and associated monitoring, evaluation, reporting and improvement.

Situated on the edge of the picturesque Great Dividing Range, less than 1.5 hours west of Brisbane and only two hours from both the Gold and Sunshine Coasts (and with direct flights to Sydney), the 'garden city' of Toowoomba is one of South East Queensland’s best kept secrets. This thriving regional community, Australia’s largest inland provincial city with 160,000 residents, offers affordable housing, world-class health, education, recreation and cultural facilities.
