NQ Dry Tropics is a community-based, not-for-profit business leading change towards best practice management of land, water, and biodiversity in the dry tropics of North Queensland. Formed in 2002, NQ Dry Tropics delivers solutions that benefit landscapes, livelihoods and communities for the long-term.

 

Based in Townsville, and reporting to the Manager - Corporate Services, in this pivotal and challenging role you will lead the function responsible for providing governance, oversight and continuous improvement of the organisation’s Project Management Framework, and associated processes, standards and systems. In doing so, you will provide specialist advice, guidance and capability development to Project and Program Leads, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and drive initiatives that strengthen project governance, accountability and organisational maturity.

 

Relevant qualifications, demonstrated experience developing, implementing and maintaining project management frameworks and associated systems and processes, strong knowledge of project management methodologies and project lifecycle management, and the ability to embed consistent practices across an organisation are essential. Project or Program Management Certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, MSP) will be well regarded.

 

Applicants must currently reside and be permitted to work permanently in Australia, hold a ‘C’ class driver’s license and be available to travel, including overnight stays, as required.
