Established for thirty-five years and admitted into the Australian Export Awards Hall of Fame in 2009 our Toowoomba-based client, Russell Mineral Equipment (RME), is the acknowledged world leader in grinding Mill Relining Systems. As an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), RME’s core competencies include quality design and manufacture as well as global distribution, after-sales service and mill relining and consulting services. Via a network of wholly-owned international subsidiaries, the organisation supports customers in more than 60 countries.

 

Integral to the ongoing development of the organisation’s enterprise platform, the opportunity now exists for an experienced leader to provide expertise to the organisation as it relates to the evaluation, implementation and adoption of engineering software tools and systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Engineering function across the group.

 

Reporting to the Group Manager - Information Systems, and working closely with RME’s Engineering Teams and broader Manufacturing department, in this role you will take responsibility for evaluating current and new technology, obtaining input and buy-in regarding those technologies, managing its implementation and co-ordinating associated training.

 

Your success in this challenging role will be underpinned by your: high level project management, scope definition and change leaderships skills; commitment to quality, safety, change management and Lean methodologies; strong stakeholder engagement, written and spoken communication and influencing skills; advanced planning, prioritisation and issues management ability; and practical, collaborative, team-based and customer-centric approach.

 

A degree qualification in Information Technology, Engineering or other relevant discipline, significant experience in project/change leadership and systems analysis and design relating to the successful delivery of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or large software implementation projects, and experience with leading a team to develop systems strategy and solution requirement and to define business process and data management frameworks is required.

 

Qualifications in Project or Change Management, experience delivering MS Dynamics/365 (FinOps & CE) or PTC Windchill solutions, experience with Azure Dev Ops and with contract/commercial management of vendors, and working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulics design and/or other manufacturing and logistics related disciplines will be a distinct advantage.
